I am pleased to welcome you to the new DRS Technologies' web site. As a result of our recent merger with Finmeccanica, the web site has a new look, but still represents our ongoing commitment to our customers, business partners and suppliers to provide a convenient and easily accessible means of communicating product, service, employment, organizational, event, and other newsworthy information about the Company.
As a diversified defense technology company, DRS Technologies is committed to growth by strategically leveraging existing business areas, partnering with industry leaders on high-priority programs and acquiring companies that are synergistic with our core strengths. At DRS, our resources are focused on innovation, quality, cost-effectiveness and superior value for our customers. The company's record performance over the past several years is the result of our responsive employees who are dedicated to the highest ethical and quality standards, our targeted strategies and a team commitment for expansion. Our plans for the future include working closely with Finmeccanica to globalize our market reach, further penetrate the defense electronics and commercial marketplaces, identify suitable acquisition candidates, and continue to improve operations.
This site will be a continuing work in progress and, as such, frequently will be updated to keep the contents current and meaningful to visitors.
